Fire Pump Cloud System

The fire pump is considered the most important and critical equipment in the whole fire fighting system. It sits at the heart of any fixed fire fighting system – and if it doesn’t function as it should the consequences can be devastating. Due to this, it becomes very necessary to monitor a fire fighting pump on 24 / 7 basis. This is to make sure the system is running perfectly, and to get immediate alarms or messages in case of any failure, critical or abnormal situation, so as the dedicated maintenance team can do the necessary actions in early and immediate stages.

Towards this end, NAFFCO has launched the Cloud System which is a new innovative monitoring system that enables us to monitor your Fire Pump 24/7 where ever it is.

Interfacing unit is connected with the Fire Pump Controllers and related sensors and equipment in the Fire Pump room. This unit sends the monitored signals to a special modem. Any signal or alarm sent to the modem is then transferred to the Cloud and NAFFCO’s Desktop Management System via 3G or GPRS. At NAFFCO’s Cloud System Control Room an alarm is sounded upon the receipt of the signal and our maintenance team will be continuously monitoring your pump 24 / 7, ready for quick action, and always stand-by. The system can also be interfaced with the mobile phone(s) of a site’s safety staff, so that they can quickly be alerted to a problem or it can transfer information via e-mail and real-time information can be passed on to Civil Defence authorities also. The system generates alerts to the service desk and assists to identify and notify fault conditions to operators immediately. As well as revealing faults and ensuring fast remedial action, this kind of monitoring will also increase awareness of best practice regarding this type of life-saving equipment.

Fixed CAF System

THE NAFFCO CAFS 400 Gallons / 500 Gallons Compressed Air Foam Fire Suppression System uses compressed air to propel fire fighting foam. Thousands of tight radius bubbles quickly cool and smother a fire by providing a thick vapor-sealing blanket of foam that virtually eliminates re-ignition. The foam will adhere to horizontal and vertical surfaces. This system allows the operator to seal a fuel spill and flammable vapors with foam thus reducing or eliminating a potential fire. The system will discharge the foam approximately 25-30 meters. in a no wind condition allowing fire fighting personnel without protective clothing to avoid thermal injuries. Trained personnel can accomplish all maintenance except the hydrostatic pressure testing of the Air Cylinders, Premix Tank, and the Discharge Hose.

Fluoroprotein Foam (FP) Concentrate

NAFFCO FLUOROFOAM is a fluoroprotein foam concentrate containing C6 flourinated surfactants in a carefully formulated protein foam liquid base. This ensures the production of a stabilised fluid foam which will cover a burning hydrocarbon fuel surface very rapidly. The water soluble fluorosurfactant makes the foam hydrocarbon repellent and reduces the amount of burning particles absorbed by the foam in fighting the hydrocarbon fuel fires. Once fire extinction has been achieved the high stability of the foam blanket ensures against the risk of re-ignition and provides excellent protection against “burn-back” should any inaccessible pockets of fire remains.

Foam Chamber

Foam Chamber is used in one of the most common application to protect vertical fixed roof (cone) liquid storage tanks, with or without internal floating roof with the low expansion foam system. The application of foam is on the basis that the risk comprises the total surface area of the fuel. The foam system design guidelines generally used are in accordance with NFPA-11, standard.

Foam chambers are defined by NFPA-11 as Type II discharge outlets for delivering the foam to the surface of a flammable liquid. The Foam Chambers are widely used with the Inline Foam Inductor, Balance Pressure Foam Proportioning system, Bladder Tank Proportioner or Foam Tender.

Foam Maker

Foam Maker is used for one of the most common applications of protecting tank seal in vertical liquid storage tank with internal floating roof with low expansion foam system. The application of aspirated foam is on the basis of the risk comprising the area in the annular ring between the rim of the floating roof and the tank shell. The Foam system design guidelines generally used are in accordance with NFPA11 standard. The Foam Makers are defined by NFPA 11 as Type II discharge outlets for delivering the low expansion aspirated foam to the seal. The Foam Makers are widely used with the Inline Foam Inductor, Balance Pressure Foam Proportioning system, Bladder Tank system and Foam tenders.

Foam Master

NAFFCO Foam Master is a self contained mobile foam unit which has been specially developed for the rapid deployment of foam extinguishing agent to fires and chemical spills. NAFFCO Foam Master can be operated by one person.

This unit is an ideal choice for the protection of smaller flammable liquid hazards such as boiler rooms, oil storage loading terminals and industrial sites.

Foam Monitors

NAFFCO monitors were specially designed to meet the requirements of municipal, petrochemical and industrial applications. They ensure precise directed stream of water or foam with a large variety of options of flow rates and pressure which make it the ideal choice.

The unique balanced flow of dual waterway design configuration was well machined on swivel joints to reduce the friction loss and improve the flow stream and range.

The monitor provides a large flow capability and can be manually operated by a single fire fighter. The design ensures the prevention of jet reaction forces from affecting the horizontal and the vertical position of the monitor.

Foam Nozzles

NAFFCO nozzles are designed for a wide range of applications, which requires different flow patterns like the fog or straight stream pattern to extinguish fire or for cooling of the flammable liquid storage tanks surface or for providing protection against radiant heat.

Foam Sprinkler Head

Naffco Foam Sprinkler Heads Mounted within the roof structure provides an even distribution of foam assuring fast flame knock down and fire control. They also provide cooling to the structure and protection from heat radiation.

Spray systems employing foam sprinklers have great utility in fire protection of aircraft hangers, chemical process areas, petroleum loading racks, terminals, refineries and flammable liquid storage areas.
